Day 1: Dushanbe – Panjakent

Breakfast Pick up from hotel Morning drive to Panjakent via Istiqlol tunnel (5km) and Varzob valley You will see Fan Mountains – a popular tourism and mountain climbing area in Tajikistan. There are about 100 passes in h from 3200 to 5060 m (Mirali). The Fan Mountains are the highest part of Zeravshan range with 11 peaks above 5,000 m with sharp fantastical pointed forms. In the bosom of these mountains are about 30 lakes, the largest of which are Iskandarkul, and the most beautiful and picturesque, famous for the unique play of colours – Kulikalon. On the way several photo stops. Arrival to Panjakent. Panjakent is a town in the north of Tajikistan, located on the right bank of Zarafshon River, 60 km east of Samarqand. The Zarafshon Valley was in the ancient time known as Sughd or Sughdiana. The inhabitant of the valley were Sughdians – the direct ancestors of the modern Tajiks. In the Southern suburbs of the modern Panjakent there is a site of ancient settlement, known in science under the name Ancient Panjakent, which was the capital of the same name of least last hundred years of its existence. It was even named “Central Asian Pompeii”. Sightseeing: On the way explore Sarazm, 5500 years old Urban Settlement, UNESCO sight, Museum of Rudaki – As Penjikent is a birthplace of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, considered by many to be the father of Persian Poetry. Lunch at traditional restaurant Ancient Penjikent – ruins of old Sogdian town founded in 5th century and abandoned in the 8th century by Arabs. Foundations of houses, a citadel with a couple of Zoroastrian fire temples and city bazaar are visible in the excavated ruins. Visit central Mosque named after Muhammad Bashoro Central colorful Bazar (Market) Dinner at the restaurant Overnight in hotel Umariyon 3*.or similar

Day 2: Panjakent – Seven Lakes – Panjakent

Panjakent -Seven Lakes – Panjakent 70+70 km. Breakfast at the hotel Morning drive to Seven beautiful Lakes (70km) The first lakes name’s Mizhgon (eyelash) – Multi-coloured, one of the most beautiful Marguzor lakes. The Soya (shade) second lake and third lakes Husher (vigilance) at h 1700м. The fourth lakes name’s Nofin length 3,5км, depth 70m. The fifth lakes Hurdak. The sixth lakes Marguzor – length of lake 5км, depth of 80 metres, h on a sea level 2139м. Seventh Lake-Hazorchashma (one thousand sources) at h 2400м, length 4,5км and depth 85м. Picnic near the lake Afternoon drive back to Penjekent city. Dinner at the restaurant Overnight at the hotel

Day 3: Panjakent – Iskanderkul – Dushanbe

Breakfast at the the hotel. Early morning check out. Drive to Iskandsrkul lake (3 hours drive). Iskandarkul lake: length – 5км, width – 3,5км and depth to – 80м, located at h 2250м. The heart of Fan mountains, the treasure of Tyan-Shan, a scenic Iskandarkul lake is one of the most beautiful lakes in Tajikistan. Having emerald green and blue colour. A fast flouring Iskandar-darya river flows from the lake, forming a marvelous and gorgeous waterfall, so called the “Fan Niagara” that falls from the h 38 meters. Visit Kuli Moron (Snakes lake) and five spring Walking near the lake. See waterfall Lunch at the restaurant Afternoon drive to Dushanbe via Istiqlol tunnel (5km) and Varzob valley Transfer to the hotel. The end of the service
