Chong Kemin horseback riding tour

Morning transfer from Bishkek to Karool-Dobo village in Chong-Kemin valley. On the way, visit the Burana Tower architectural complex (10-11th century, an important point on the Great Silk Road), 15 km from the main road. Arrival to village we have lunch. After lunch short hiking around the village. Dinner overnight in a guesthouse.

In the morning we will sit on our horses and begin the ascent to Lake Köl-Kogur. The Chon-Kemin Valley is fabulously rich in forests: coniferous - formed by the relict spruce of the Tien-Shan fur trees; mixed - where aspen, willow, birch are adjacent grow together; floodplain (or riverbed) - where shrubs and deciduous trees dominate. Here you can truly relax from the bustle and enjoy the beauty of the Kyrgyz mountains. A picnic will be arranged for lunch. Continue horse riding to Kol Kogur Lake, arrival to lake dinner overnight in a tent.

Breakfast. Start last day of the tour from Kol-Kogur lake to Tamchy pass and cross the pass (3 400 meters a.s.l.). Short break for a lunch. Continue to Achyk-Tash Jailoo, where a car from Tamchy Village picks you up. Transfer to the lakeshore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Enjoy the lakeside and swim in refreshing waters of Issyk-Kul Lake after the trek. After Issyk Kul lake transfer to Bishkek. End fo the tour.
