How to Get to Jyrgalan Valley

From Karakol

The valley is reachable by road from Karakol, which is the main base for exploring eastern Issyk‑Kul Region. Visitors typically:

  • Travel by 4×4 vehicle or shared transport from Karakol to the Jyrgalan settlement

  • From the village, walking, biking, or horseback riding begins into the deeper parts of the valley

Karakol itself can be reached from Bishkek by domestic flight to Manas International Airport followed by road travel, or by long‑distance road transport.
